Velkommen 'til Woodville!

collage of the village of woodville

Welcome to Woodville, a progressive little community nestled in scenic west central Wisconsin. Rich in Norwegian heritage, Woodville invites young and old to its door step with an enthusiastic velkommen! Over the years, Woodville has grown from a prosperous logging town to one of the leading manufacturing communities in St. Croix County. Its close proximity to Minneapolis/St. Paul, to the west, and Eau Claire, to the east, affords its residents the luxury of a hometown atmosphere with all the amenities of urban America close at hand. Woodville's Norwegian ancestry is festively commemorated every spring around May 17th on Syttende Mai, Norway's Independence Day. The community joins together in colorful array to celebrate its folklore and legends of the mighty Viking warrior Leif Ericson.
